New student coordinator: Jonas Rusche
Hello, my name is Jonas Rusche. I am currently a Peace and Conflict Studies student at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg and will be the new student coordinator or tutor for this Master’s degree. To start with I want to briefly introduce myself. I grew up in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and after finishing schoolI moved to Rotterdam to work as a volunteer of “Aktion Sühnezeichen Friedensdienste” for the local German Seamensmission. After a year volunteering there I studied International Relations and English at the University of Erfurt and I finished my Bachelor’s degree in 2017. I then moved to Magdeburg in October of the same year to study PACS. Along the way, I was also fortunate enough to study and work abroad in the USA, the Netherlands and Estonia.
As a tutor I will have different responsibilities. First and foremost, I am the contact person and voice for this Master’s programme including forall current students, people who apply to the programme and those who have finished their degrees. I am excited to help answer all questions that might come up during the academic year;, from how to find accommodation and where to find your grades to when will be the next PACS Summer Beats party. If I am unable to answer the question directly, I will help you to find the most appropriate contact person.
If you have any questions, concerns or feedback, please feel very welcome to stop by my office in the G40 building, room 327. Or write me an email at .
See you soon,
Jonas Rusche
