Short report about the field research of Dr. Kristina Roepstorff
Two month field research in Bangladesh
In March/April 2019, Dr. Kristina Roepstorff was in Bangladesh for a two-month field research project to collect data for her habilitation project on local humanitarian actors in the context of forced migration. The tense situation on the ground, high security measures and the lack of trust between the various actors made her work more difficult. Nevertheless, Dr. Roepstorff describes her field research as very successful, since she was able to collect relevant data, gain a very good impression of the work of local humanitarian actors in Cox's Bazar and make new friends and international scientific contacts.
